Based on the above analysis, the conclusion could be derived as follows : (1) The Village Community Resilience Body (LKMD), the Family Welfare Movement (PKK) and the Integrated Community Health Past (Posyandu), are an integral part of the comprehensive community development which their functions and responsibilities are under the supervision of the Ministry of Home Affairs. However, the technical aspects of those structures are the responsibilities of respective individual departement. (2) The LKMD, the PKK and the Posyandu have a potential power to influence the development in general, and specifically, the health development within the frame work of District health management through those viable organizational structure and its management, constituational set up, community involvement, operational activities and supporting facilities given by the respective collaborating sectors as well as their historical background. (3) The effects of the LKMD, PKK and Posyandu in the process of the health development could be seen through the result of working group (PKK and LKMD) responsible for the implementation of activities in the field of health, promotion and conservation of environment and planning for healthy, and the results of the Posyandu which provides five basic health programmes consisting family planning, maternal and child health, nutrition and immunization and diarrheal disease control. (4) Positive factors influencing and facilitating the success of the implementation of those structure (the LKMD, PKK and Posyandu) are (a) supervisory mechanisme of the operation, the commitment of people who are responsible for the managerial aspects including the head of respective administrative level, community leaders and cadres, and supporting facilitaties as well as the participation of the community them self. Beside that, inhibiting factors in faciliting the success of those structures are the level of awareness and knowledge of the community toward health aspects and the voluntarily workers in those structures. (5) The cadres are the potential worker of the operation of those health structure (the LKMD, PKK and Posyandu) and large number of cadres have been used for its operation. Its functions are encouraging community participation, direct service educational activities and administrative arrangement. But on the other hand they are volunteer and its consequency is high drop out. (6) A high level of political commitment and support particularly at the local level has been useful to the health development structures to be successful. A high degree of community self reliance and local leadership in programme planning, implementation and evaluation is also powerful to make the success of the health development structures (the LKMD, PKK and Posyandu).
