Factors that related to DHF are individual susceptibility; knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) of society and DHF vector. Those factors virulence of virus are different and unstable for each area and time. This is the main reason for conducting this research. Method of this research was cross sectional study by doing systematic interview in order to know knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) of society, followed by larval and breeding place survey. The research located on endemic area i.e. Purwodadi Sub District in Grobogan District. Research was carried since March until November 2006. The results showed that level of knowledge about DHF at the endemic and sporadic society were significantly different. But the level of attitude and practice about DHF were equal. There were some different trends in vectors density gained from larval and breeding survey. At last survey House Index less than 5%. Most of breeding place were ?gentong? and bath tube. Almost all, larva was identified as aides agepti.
