Abstract

The research result of P2B2 Loka Tanah Bumbu on 2009, the proportion of worm infestation in 2 school in the subdistrict Kusan Hilir ranged 51%-54% after 2 months before getting treatment worm infestation. The purpose of this study was to determine factors influencing the success of worm drug treatment programs at SDN 01 Pagatan district Tanah Bumbu subdistrict Kusan Hilir. The study with quality and quantitative research methods with survey design (cross sectional). Population is elementary school children at SDN 01 Pagatan with a total sample consisted of 91 people graders 1-6. This research is held by collecting parasites data directly before and after the worm drugs treatment and in depth interview to the health officer and the teacher to get the factors influencing the success of worm drugs treatment. Data analyzed by Wilcaxon test. The results of pre-treatment worm disease by 50% positive ?Soil Transmitted Helminth? worm while post-treatment examination results as much as 10% still suffer from worm infestation. There is a decrease in the proportion of worm infection by 40% between before and after treatment. Administration of drugs carried out by officers qualified health center pharmacy. Types of drugs namely mebendazole in one dose. The method of de-worming done directly (in front of the officers). Delivery of worm medicine at SDN 01 Pagatan a considered a success by pressing the number by 40% the proportion of worm infestation. Factors that influence the success of drug delivery is the drug delivery methods directly.
