Abstract

Nature conservation aspect and consumen protecting need to get attention, especially for contamination by some chemical substances. Crops contamination get big attention, because this commodities can threaten health if they keep consuming these foods. The purpose of Risk Assesment for public health in west Java is to test the level of residues pesticide dithiocarbamat in food, which had been carried out for six various of food among other rice, corn, bean, banana, tofu and ? tempe?. Sampel taken from B,C, S in west Java province. The level of pesticide dithiocarbamat value is measured by using Gas Chromatografi. The Residues pesticide dithiocarbamat is detected on rice. Corn, bean and banana but the level is still under Maximum Residue Limits ( MRL ), except for rice and corn MRL has not been stated. The total level of dithiocarbamat consumed which come from B, C and S is 0.0006 mg/kg ; 0.0008 mg/kg and 0,001 mg/kg or 6%; 8% and 10 % from Acceptable Daily Intake ( ADI ) dithiocarbamat value, calculated based on diet according to BPS data, but when it was calculated based on 1700 diet caloric the total level of dithiokarbamat consumed was 0.0038 mg/kg ; 0.0033 mg/kg and 0.0029 mg/kg or 38%, 33% and 29 % from ADI value. It becomes risk to health as it isn?t include polution from other chemical compound.
