Abstract

One hundred and nineteen employees and students of Bonn University Hospital were examined about effect and side effects of two kinds of hepatitis B vaccine produced by genetic engineering's method. Both of vaccine was highly effective. Vaccine B5 provided higher titer anti-Hbs. The frequency of side effects after the first vaccination with Vaccine A5 was higher. Against of that the intensity of side effect after every vaccination with Vaccine B was higher. One of the reasons could be the higher dose of antigen and contents of preservative's substances.
