Abstract

To diagnose DHF, must be perform Laboratory examination (especially serology test). Because clinical symptoms and sign vary on DHF patients, from slight ilnes as a common-cold, to severe disease with shock and diffuse haemorrhage and suddenly death before diagnosis DHF was confirmend. DHF control programme, performend Haemaglutination Inhibition (HI) test for serologi confirmation, since 20 years ago. Since 1990, perform Dengue Test Kit (a simple procedur test), as a alternative serology laboratory examination, due to twist procedure of HI test. And because of the costly and others purchasing problem of this Dengue Blot Test, DHF control programme try to use Dengue Stick IGg Test Kit. Dengue Stick IGg Test Kit produce by Indonesia factory, eventhough Dengue Blot Test Kit produce of foreign country. Study on usage of Dengue Stick IGg conducted on provincial laboratory, and provinci's hospital laboratory for arranged the posibility the usage Dengue Stick IGg in DHF control programme in Indonesia. It's concluded by this study, no significan difference betwen Dengue Blot Test and Dengue stick IGg Test compare to HI test in DHF serology confirmation.
